For making loom bands spiral badge project you’ll need:

  • 1 black band
  • 3 green bands
  • 4 blue bands
  • 4 purple bands
  • 4 pink bands
  • 4 red bands
  • 4 orange bands
  • 4 yellow bands
  • 1 badge pin

Setting up your loom to make loom bands spiral badge!

Set up your loom in the STAGGERED configuration, making sure the arrow is
acing away from you, then place the bands in the order shown in the diagram.

Step 1:

Turn your loom so the arrow is facing towards you.You’re going to be hooking and looping the bands in reverse order to how they were placed, so, putting your hook inside yellow band 28, push it back, catch the top catch the bottom pair of bands and loop them diagonally.

Step 2:

Put your hook inside the peg you just looped to, catch the bottom pair of bands and loop them diagonally to the left-hand side.

Step 3:

Continue hooking and looping the remaining 11 pairs of bands, make sure you always hook from inside the other bands and only catch the bottom pair of bands in your hook each time.

Step 4:

Now, put your hook in the band you just looped to, catch thc bottom black band and loop it diagonally to the central row.

Step 5:

Catch the bottom band end from last peg and pull it up through itself to create a slipknot, before pulling all your bands off the loom.

Step 6:

It’s now time to spiral! Start by lil threading the black slipknot through the yellow end.

Keep rolling the chain into a spiral

Wrap the black band once around the complete spiral.
