Set up your loom in the SQUARED configuration, making sure the arrow is facing away from you, then place the bands in the order shown in the diagram.
Turn your loom so the arrow is facing towards you. You’re going to be hooking and looping the bands in reverse order to how they were placed, starting with brown first. So, putting your hook inside band 34 push it back, catch the top bottom pair of brown bands and loop them forward.
Hook and loop the next four pairs of brown bands in the same way, making sure each time that you only catch the bottom pair of bands in your hook.
Now, the chain forks. Put your hook inside this peg, take the top pink pair of bands and loop them diagonally to the upper left-hand peg.
Continue hooking and looping the next three pairs of pink bands in the chain, remembering to always hook from inside the other bands on the peg. Note that the third pair will be hooked at normal, but looped diagonally to the central row.
Go back to where the chain forks, reach inside, take the top pair of orange band ; and loop them diagonally to the upper right-hand peg.
Repeat step 4 on the right-hand side.
Once more, go back to where the chain forks, reach inside the peg, catch the bottom pair of yellow bands and loop them forward.
Loop the next two pairs of yellow bands forward, too.
Put your hook in the peg you just ended on, reach down inside, catch the bottom blue band and loop it forward.
Using your hook, pull the bottom of the band up through itself to create a slipknot. Your lollipop is complete!
