For making loom bands badge project you’ll need:
- 3 yellow bands
- 6 red bands
- 19 white bands
- 1 badge pin
Setting up your loom to make loom bands badge!
Set up your loom in the SQUARED configuration, making sure the arrow is facing away from you, then place the bands in the order shown in the diagram.
Turn your loom so the arrow is facing towards you.With this design, you’re going to start at band 24. So, putting your hook inside the peg, push it back, catch the bottom pair of white bands and loop them forward.
Put your hook inside the peg you just looped to, catch the bottom pair of red bands and loop them forward.
Now, hook and loop the next pair of white bands, too.
Catch the bottom band end from the last peg and pull it up through itself to create a slipknot.
Repeat steps 1-5 in the central row(starting at band 16) and then in the right-hand row (starting at band 8).
Now, your bands should all be secure, so pull the birthday cake off the loom and tie a little knot in the end of each yellow band. These are the candles.
To finish off, weave your badge pin through the red bands.
